Rovaniemen Cinema ry is a non-profit movie club run by volunteers founded in 1962. Cinema people are a diverse group of film lovers and everyone is more than welcome to join!

Our aim is to bring variety to city’s movie culture and make this a tiny bit better place to stay for many. We want culture events and hobbies to be accessible for all. This is why we want to keep our membership fee as small as possible and work together with other non-profit organizations. Hope to see you all at the movies!

Rovaniemen Cinema starts the fresh week with variety of cinematic gems. Get your snacks and head to Wiljami. We do love mondays!

Rovaniemen Cinema ry is a non-profit movie club run by volunteers founded in 1962. Cinema people are a diverse group of film lovers and everyone is more than welcome to join! Rovaniemen Cinema brings variety to local movie scene with legendary monday-screenings at culture house Wiljami. Welcome to organize screenings with us or just enjoy the magic of the movie!

Follow us on social media to keep up with the upcoming films. Monday screenings at Wiljami 7pm and with the 10€ season card you can attend to all the screenings. Seats are filled on a first-come-first-sits basis. You can bring your own snacks (bottles, cans and trash to the recycling when leaving). The doors open 30 minutes before the movie begins (18:30). Safer space principles are followed in all our activities and screenings and we take action agains bad behaviour. There are limited (two) wheelchair places at the screening hall. Attention! All our activities and screenings are entirely in the hands on volunteer film enthusiasts and we are not a commercial or professional operator. We strive to bring more versatile and accessible movie moments with the resources we have. We recommend checking the movie information, screening languages and age limits from our social medias before the screening. Technical issues e.g. may occur – let this be part of the experience! ELOKUVAN TAIKAA JO VUODESTA 1962.

Rovaniemen Cinema ry on 1962 perustettu voittoatavoittelematon vapaaehtoisvoimin pyörivä leffakerho. Cinemalaiset ovat kirjava joukko elokuvan ystäviä ja jokainen on tervetullut mukaan toimintaan! Rovaniemen Cinema rikastuttaa kaupungin elokuvatarjontaa Kulttuuritalo Wiljamin perinteisillä maanantainäytöksillä. Tervetuloa mukaan suunnittelemaan ja järjestämään näytöksiä, tai ihan vain nauttimaan elokuvan taiasta!

Seuraa Cineman nettisivuja ja sosiaalisia medioita, niin pysyt kärryillä tulevista elokuvista. Maanantaileffat tuttuun tapaan Wiljamilla alkaen 19:00. Kaikkiin syksyn näytöksiin pääset 10€ kausikortilla. Näytöksiin ei varata paikkoja, vaan paikat täyttyvät saapumisjärjestyksessä. Näytöksiin voi tuoda omat eväät (pullot, tölkit ja roskat kierrätykseen lähtiessä). Wiljamin ovet avautuvat näytösiltoina 30 minuuttia ennen elokuvan alkamista (18:30). Kaikessa Cineman toiminnassa ja näytöksissä noudatetaan turvallisemman tilan periaatteita ja huonoon käytökseen puututaan. Salissa on rajallinen määrä (kaksi) pyörätuolipaikkaa. Jos haluat kuulla lisää elokuvakerhon toiminnasta tai tulla mukaan suunnittelemaan tapahtumia, laitappa mailia!

Huomio obs! Kaikki Rovaniemen Cineman toiminta on täysin vapaaehtoisten harrastajien käsissä emmekä ole kaupallinen tai ammattimainen toimija. Pyrimme järjestämään monipuolisia ja saavutettavia elokuvahetkiä resurssien puitteissa. Suosittelemme tarkistamaan elokuvan tiedot, esityskielet ja ikärajat Cineman sosiaalisista medioista ennen näytöstä. Näytöksissä saattaa ilmetä mm. teknisiä ongelmia tai muita sekaannuksia. Tämä olkoon osa kokemusta! Cineman leffanäytökset toteutetaan meiltä teille kaikille ja rakkaudesta elokuvaan. Nähdään 🙂
